“I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a diverse and rewarding career over my 65 years. My journey began with graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1982 and earning my wings, which launched a fulfilling career in aviation.
In 1995, I pivoted into technology by founding my first business in home computer repair. That path grew into network contracting and eventually led to a role as a Network Administrator responsible for the critical computer infrastructure across three hospitals.
Across every role I’ve ever held, one constant thread has remained: a passion for teaching and helping others succeed. If you had asked me twenty years ago whether I would be running a financial education company and teaching hands-on wealth strategies today, I would have said absolutely not! Back then, I didn’t even realize this level of freedom in this industry was possible.
A decade ago, everything changed when I discovered how to partner with the U.S. market to gain complete control over my time and cash flow. After successfully escaping the “rat race,” I dedicated myself to showing others how to do the same.”

Earl Q. Davis didn't start out as a financial educator. Like many of his students today, he was searching — for security, for independence, for a way to stop trading time for money. When he discovered the language of markets, everything changed.
What he found wasn't just a trading strategy. He found a system of thinking — one that prioritized capital protection over speculation, steady compounding over get-rich-quick shortcuts, and community over competition.
Earl founded Edgewater Education with one goal: to give others the same foundation he wished he'd had. Not signals. Not tips. Real, transferable Financial Intelligence — taught by people who walk the talk, every single day.
Today, Edgewater has mentored hundreds of students across all walks of life, from first-time investors to seasoned professionals — all learning together as a tribe.

Began his own journey into markets — studying chart interpretation, options strategies, and the psychology of investing from the ground up.
